A real security can exist only when the given system is fully integrated, easy and simple to operate on a daily basis as well as in an emergency. Many systems fail due to lack of synchronization between the different system components.
For example if access control or the intrusion detection systems are not synchronized with the CCTV within the same application, it will be difficult to identify the location of the security breach and to view the real-time video as well as the event recording immediately. This will result in lack of understanding regarding the nature of the event and thus incapability to respond properly and handle it.
Sphinx software is a command and control application which was specially developed in order to solve the above failure in building security and management. Sphinx is easy and simple to operate, providing one brand new, state of the art interface for command and control based on dynamic maps. Sphinx includes the following modules: • CCTV The platform offers the user layer-based graphical interface in order to monitor multi sites and navigate between the different buildings and floors of the project. The application is based on different levels which can be zoomed in and out: Global Map – presenting the entire sites which exist in the project. Site Map – presents the entire buildings in the selected site. Building map – presents the entire floors in the selected building. Floor map – presents all the security elements (doors, gates, cameras, intrusion zones etc) which exist in the floor. General Map
